Two Builds One House

While building some computer for the house to separate usage of personal systems and being in a rush to so. I built 3 computers when in actuality I only needed two. I plan to sell the 3 system for funds for a GTX 660. one of the machine will be a dual boot hackintosh for video editing and the other is for gaming while doubling as a NAS for my wife's apple tv.

how do you propose the most optimized set up.

Offload the 3rd one, throw a 660 in the second one, use the first for video editing and the second for gaming.

Assuming you run 1080p, the 660 is enough for most gaming scenarios whereas your 1st build would benefit more from the extra threads in the 2600K and the better graphics card.

Definitely make the video editing rig the 2600K with the 3570K as the gaming rig for the most optimal performance, in my opinion.
