Can someone make this software?

Can someone make an input override software for vr?  If you know x360ce, it takes any input and convert it to an xbox 360 input. Well Im thinking of a software that takes any input and converts it to vr movement like a drop down menu perhaps that shows move forward, backward, left or right and there will be a slider to adjust how fast it will be. It is just annoying to use the trackpad or the sticks on a vr device when playing a competitive shooter game. Maybe the converted input will be like trackpad press up or press down or left or right. Maybe making the software opensource so that the community will be the one to probably improve it.

 

EDIT: It shouldn't be too difficult since there is steamvr sdk out there or osvr

well I could pay but its not just for me, im thinking it to be opensource, well, its not that hard to do sooo I might be able to pay but for a small price

They are sites where a lot of programers like to reside. LTT forums doesn't have so many programers.
