I dont know what the fuck a multiplex laser microphone system is as even if you google it this thread is the first thing which appears.

 

But a laser microphone measures the distance of an object and you point it at something which will be vibrating from the sound waves and then it reproduces that.

 

To my knowledge, their cold war tech from the spy wars and they dont work that well.

multiplexing is just a signal processing method, everything else is a materials science thing that is easily accomplished i think just not done as people don't want to break from conventions, lazyness
