All USB 3 Ports working as USB 2

Hi all,

 

i got a weird problem with all of my USB 3 ports on my Asus Maximus X Hero.

All of them only work as USB 2 Ports.

Everytime I plug in a USB 3 device I get a message from Windows telling me that i could get higher speeds if i put it into a USB 3 slot.

 

The ports are showing in the device manager, drivers are up to date, i even updated my chipset but that wasn't helping either.

In the BIOS everything (ports and controlers) is enabled.

This happened from one day to the other, it was working fine for 8 months now and im not aware that i made any changes to the system.

 

Does someone know what could cause this?
