So to be clear the cooler is loud but will work under heavy load?

The boxed (included) cooler is made so it fits the thermals of the processor (not overclocked, as you are not buying a k that is not of concern). However they just give you a cooler so your cpu can work out of the box and there will be more silent ones on the market. I dont know how *loud* the boxed one here is but it generally is not silent.

I havent bought thermal paste myself, but I think Linus has a video for it. You could also consider one of the liquid metal pads (Coolaboroty I think has good reviews, here is a video on liquid metal pads: Linus video)

I want to use my pc for game development (unreal engine, unity ect.) and playing games like space engineers or counter strike.

this is my set up. Am I missing anything (except aesthetic items like case and rgb). Do I need to get a better cpu cooler than stock and does the cpu come with thermal paste.

Thanks.

Looks fine, except I'd get a 650W PSU and change the SSD to a 250GB and get at least a 1TB HDD to go along. The windows themselves are large, and eat more and more space with time, and the UE and Unity have large libraries and APIs that come with them, depending on what you'll be making. Srsly, they will eath this up before you even set your environments properly. Also, for the coding part you're going to need an IDE, and that is going to gobble up space like you wouldn't believe. Again, though, depending on what you'll be doing. In any case, 120GB SSD is far too little.

Sorry I didn’t make this clear but the sad is for windows and I will get a 2 tb hard drive. My mistake but thanks for your help.

The CPU is not unlocked so you wont "need" another cooler, however if you want it more silent then you probably want one. (dont know how loud the boxed is)

Thermal past should be seperate.

So to be clear the cooler is loud but will work under heavy load?

Do you know of a good thermal paste that is not too expensive?

Thank you for your help. Stock cooler it is then coz the other fans I have are very loud but I am going to upgrade all of the cooling after about 6 months or less.

I will also check out the paste vid. Thanks for all your help and sorry about the slow reply.
