Overhearting CPU

Here's my laptop asus FX 503 VD, a core I7-7700HQ pairs with a GTX 1060 6gb. When I play games like competitive game, my CPU suffer from thermal throttling (90 degree Celsius) when I set my power option to high performance while my GPU is only at 70 degree Celsius average and max is like 75 although I set the fan mode to overboost this doesn't help much, can I get some opinion or help?

is the laptop sitting flat on a surface ?, if so, try creating some space between the bottom of the laptop and the surface you are on, this helps a lot with my laptop. Extra clearance on the bottom for air flow can help.
