troubleshoot Windows 10 blank screen before lockscreen.

Yesterday I updated to what I think was the windows 10 April cumulative update then when I turned the computer back on it loads to a blank [Black] screen with no mouse on the screen. I know it is not a display problem because I can bring up the "project" option using my keyboard. 

I tried rolling back but it just brings me back to the main troubleshooting menu. I Also tried reinstalling win10 and resetting. Help plz. ;_;

 

Cpu: i7 7700k 

Motherboard: Asus rog maximus formula IX

Ram: 18gig 2x6 corsair 

Ssd: sandisk 1T

GPU: asus rog strix gtx 1080 A8G 

Windows 10: 64bit

Bios version 0906

Many problems like this. Try Clearing the CMOS after that update the bios with formated FAT 32 flash drive but firstly go to the asus website and download the lastest bios and plug the flash drive into the bios flashback

If the problem is still there try installing win 8.1/8/7.

Clearing CMOS And updating BIOS make's everything to default settings and fix glitches or bugs. And more...

So you saw no improvement after re-installing Windows? Can you think of anything else that may have changed beside the update? Did you power down before the update was complete?

 

It may be something corrupted your SSD boot sector so perhaps:

there was problem with other guy lol for that setting ignore it. Just try the steps i said before you can try with win 10 but i am worrying that the problem you are stuck can return after all that. that's why i said to instal win 8/8.1/7

None of those ideas worked. Its probably my ssd.

Sad to see this...Do you have motherboard that shows codes while booting if so tell whats the code when you boot

Umm...That means it's default i think...It's default. Then i really don't know try to get cables for your monitor and switch them VGA DVI HDMI DISPLAYPORT

I don't think it's a display thing.

 it can be a ssd problem EDIT: Try to get other SSD or HDD. 1 i think you don't have other SSD so try with other PC/laptop the SSD. 2 try to get the ssd out of your pc and just leave you HDD and see what happens.

I've tried VGA, dvi and hdmi with and without a GPU. So im gonna say it's a bad ssd. I just hope I can grab my files off of it.
