I'm extremely worried.

Undead

So I posted a topic about my hard drive this morning making clicking noises. I was halfway through playing Magicka and it crashed. I then tried restarting it in Steam and Steam crashed. I went in Computer and the drive is no longer there. What steps should I take?

Don't use it anymore, it could be dead. Check to see if it's visible in the BIOS. If so, get all of the data you can off of it.

If it's not showing in windows or the bios, try putting it in the freezer for an hour and then immediately getting the data off of it.

It's showing in bios and now it's showing in my computer.I've got like 600gb of data on this drive. Are Toshiba drives unreliable?
