Help me choose.

Go to solution Solved by Crunchy Dragon,

There is no difference between AMD FreeSync and FreeSync.

You don't need an AMD GPU to use a FreeSync monitor, I use a GTX 780 with my FreeSync display.

I would get the Asus display. It has a wider variety of inputs(something I personally value), is a couple dollars cheaper, and has an LED display, which will look nicer out of the box than the Acer's LCD display.

i'm looking for a monitor to buy. found 2 tell me what do you think.

so i think this one is good/better then the other one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06X6HJ1SF/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

second one >

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GMGHCVG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

I also have a question i see there's Freesync and amd freesync? is there a difference? does it matter.if it says amd and if i do get the amd one and im using a gigabyte gtx 1060?

Freesync is an AMD graphics card exclusive so you will not be able to take advantage of it. Freesync is where the graphics card pairs with the monitor so there is less tearing in-game. You have a Nvidia graphics card so it will use the freesync monitor as if it was a normal monitor. If you want a similer thing Nvidia cards have G-Sync which is the same thing but is normally more expensive. If I were you just get one in your budget with good reviews whether it has free sync or not. If you want it you will have to pay up for a g sync monitor.

it's actually a bit more expensive then the other one by like 20$ but that don't matter as long it's better than the other one.[Shipping is why it's more expensive].
