intel q6600 bottleneck

i found that my q6600 un overclocked bottlenecks my 3870x2 so im wondering if i should spend 250 on a new motherboard and cpu and keep my 3870x2 or replace as much as possible

Um.... I don't think a Q6600 would bottleneck that... But I would recommend replacing ASAP.

no, your q6600 should be fine so i suggest spending that $250 towards a newer gpu as the 3000 series is quite old. Also consider overclocking because that will give you a good performance boost.
