Ryzen 2500U drivers

I’m considering buying a laptop with the Ryzen 5 2500U with Vega 8 graphics in it. My concern is that in reviews people said the drivers needed updating to get the full compatibility and performance with games. So I ask anyone with this kind of cpu to tell me if this has happened and if compatibility and performance issues are gone.
