Need MOBO and CPU

I want to upgarde I have $150 I need a cpu and motherboard I could probably stretch it a bit but needs to have 4 ddr3 dimm slots and be able to run csgo fairly well

Fitting an upgrade to something that isn't a decade old is going to be a challenge, in the very best of situations, with a $150 budget.

mostly all new previous 970 gaming with fx-4350

1050ti

500watt psu

16gb ddr3

I have a case that can fit full atx that won't be a problem and I have a hyper 212 turbo should fit most things

I have an fx-4350, will this be better I know I won't need the mobo as they're both am3+ sockets

your ram is the issue with getting you into a ryzen 3 they are all ddr4 along with alot of boards and the FX platform is the top of the $150 mark right now thats a 8 core instead of the 4 cores you have now it should give you better performance.

 

 what gpu are you using it might be your bottleneck ?

1050ti specifically msi aero ITX 1050ti 4gb

whats the current problem your trying to get past with your system? i think the 1050ti and that cpu are good for most 1080p gaming the FX platform.

Just trying to get more FPS I looked at vids on youtube of the 8350+1050ti and it seems to be so much better

the 8 core is realy the only upgrade you can do without getting new ram and basically building a whole new computer.
