Posted August 6, 2018 Hi guys, So I have finally found out that my modem/router suffers from really bad BufferBloat, which is what is causing a lot of the frame drops I am experiencing in games. A fix that I have read online is using OpenWRT to mess with the router's SQM settings. However OpenWRT doesn't support the modem/router combo I have, which is the Cisco DPC3941T (provided by my ISP). I plan on replacing my modem/router combo with the Motorola MG7550/AC1900 modem/router since I am currently paying rent on the DPC3941T. Will replacing it fix my Bufferbloat problems? If not, what should I do?
