Adaptive sync and freesync

Jumas548

How do they work? Can I use rx580 to get adaptive sync? I was gonna get freesync monitor but I found very good adaptive sync one. So is it worse or better than freesync?

Adaptive Sync is what AMD uses for Freesync, so yeah it will work.

I believe the only reason you see some monitors advertising Adaptive Sync instead of Freesync is that they have not been validated by AMD. But they'll still work. You just have to check yourself to see what kind of refresh rate window they support etc. to figure out how good the monitor is.

Says Freesync right in the title, so you're good. Also it seems to have a refresh rate window of 30 to 144, which is excellent.

Well is it good monitor? Say your personal opinion

Yeah it has freesync in the title you are good. The monitor itself has a VA panel instead of a TN, so that is a huge bonus, it is curved, so that is nice, 144hz and 1080p, and it seems to have great reviews, so i would say that it is a nice monitor.
