In general, you should be favoring the custom-shrouded coolers for the better cooling capabilities. The blower cooler on the Founders Edition is known to be notoriously weak at cooling in comparison to the custom-shrouded cards.

The times to consider a Founders Edition is if you like the blower cooler whether it be because you prefer the blower cooler for your case airflow or if you just like the GeForce Founders Edition moniker.

The prices between them differ greatly depending on area, but Founders Edition cards stay at MSRP for basically their entire life so if price is a concern, Nvidia's price listing is undoubtly great price-to-performance.

I am buying parts for a pc build but, when I was looking for a graphics card, I saw a MSI gtx 1070 and a Nvidia gtx 1070. Which one is better? (price to perfoemance wise)

Not really, not with the cooling atleast (considering its atleast a mid tower)

If you want bang for buck deal, try this one. (Its real good with cooling and performance.

Blower works fine on a 1080. Should do better on a 1070.

Base it off of looks and the cases airflow.

Saying msi doesn’t mean much as they have an fe card as well, like every other company.
