So I was browsing about monitors and came across the mention of a 3440x1440 200 hz monitor, the ASUS PG35VQ. Those specs are exactly what I'm looking for when I upgrade- ultrawide, 1440p, and high refresh rate. And i've been hearing it would come out around Q4 2017. But I can't find it on amazon or anywhere, the most I could find so far is these two links to ASUS's website:

https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG35VQ/

https://rog.asus.com/articles/gaming-monitors/the-35-rog-swift-pg35vq-gaming-monitor-turns-hdr-and-quantum-dots-up-to-200hz/

So does anyone know if and when this monitor is actually going to be released, any pricing information, or anything else about it that I might want to know?

I know there are 100-144hz 3440x1440 monitors out there, but this one is HDR and quantum dot and 200hz (i've heard  144-240 doesn't make much of a difference but it's still better).

Apparently Q4 2018 and around $1500 when available.

Also is there color loss with this resolution at 200 hz like there is with the 4k monitor Linus did a video on recently? I wouldn’t expect something like that out of an HDR monitor, but it might be that way.

With full RGB color you should be able to get 200 Hz at 8 bpc color depth, or ≈160 Hz with 10 bpc color depth (HDR). To get 200 Hz and 10 bpc color depth at the same time you will need to use YCbCr 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, the same way the 4K 144 Hz monitors do.
