Matebook D which one

So Im still considering other options but if I were to choose between these 2.

which one has the better battery life?

There are no reviews of these

But they are pretty much the same even the performance is quite similar even though the mx 150 is a bit better

But the performance is good enough in both of them. So battery life which one has better?

Also how do you use a external hard drive is usb 3.0 enough? And can i use the usb 2.0 for a dock which has an ethernet port and a usb port for a mouse. Will it work?

well the ryzen one is far cheaper (849 euro vs 999 euro) and is basically the same in build quality, CPU performance and a little slower in GPU (MX150 is a little bit faster than vega 8)

according to tek.no, the ryzen one is also quieter and runs cooler

https://www.tek.no/artikler/samletest-baerbare-pc-er-under-10-000-kroner/442451 (laptops under 10k euros, 12k usd)

i just ordered the ryzen one yesterday

Ryzen laptops have potential performance issue and worse battery life

cringe "potential performance issue" Intel is the one that lost performance due to meltdown and spectre, also Ryzen is not A10 or older series of AMD CPUs, you can think of ryzen as a modern Athlon 64, the Ryzen laptops are soo new that you might end up with better battery and performance due to firmware/bios tuning by manufacturers and newer drivers

Do you mind testing the battery life and just giving a general review?

The main reason of why AMD laptops are bad is not for their performance, but manufacturers often sabotage their performance of the devices by using some "cost-cutting" features such as using a single-channel RAM instead of double channel and using cheaper, slower components.

Gaming Laptop Specs (Dell 7577):

Intel Core i7-7700HQ @ 2.8GHz (4C8T)

Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti 4GB (stock)

8GB DDR4 2400MHz

128GB SSD + 1TB HDD

Windows 10 Home
