Hey guys,

I want to install the plugin openmediavault-remotedesktop on my openmediavault. Installation fails saying:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    openmediavault-remotedesktop : Depends: xrdp (>= 0.9.4) but 0.9.1-9+deb9u3 is to be installed

what does that mean and how to fix it?

could it be that my architecture (armhf) is a problem?

the pre-compiled version for your architecture is not the latest version, get the version that remotedesktop requires for your architecture, if there isn't one you may have to compile that yourself but thats for the programming section of the LTT forums, not here.

I already found some 0.9.4-5 deb, but installing it returns in some dependencies errors with libraries.

try installing the dependency's before upgrading xrdp, ensure that they have all succeeded installation and all of their files are where they need to be, it's a pain in the ass i know but sometimes when it doesn't have them you have to get and install them yourself
