How many frames will I get?

chosen

So I am getting a gtx980ti from Zoltan brand new for my build and I’m pairing it with my r5 1600. Do you know how many frames I will get on Fortnite/CSGO and some other AAA games?

Short Answer: Enough, enjoy your games once it arrives.

Long Answer: You need to give us the screen resolution you're playing at, system RAM, etc.

Be better off looking this up on sites like:

https://www.letsbld.com/BLD#!/?draft=5965615797  (1070 performance almost same as 980 Ti and bld let me put an R5 1600 in it)

I hope you have a high-refresh rate monitor, otherwise you'll have an overkill graphics card if you just have a standard 60hz 1080p TN Panel for playing CS:GO and Fortnight;  they're very easy to push 100+ FPS with that kind of GPU (especially CS:GO).

On the other hand, if you do have a monitor befitting that class of GPU and if that PC Part list is your computer so far, I'd budget for at least a 250 GB SSD.  It'll really help speed up windows and those games handily and round out your build.  For a good bang/buck SSD I'd look at MX500, AData SU800, MyDigitalSSD, or Samsung 860.

I am going to get another monitor soon. I can’t find a new one thats under $200. If you could find the best price/performance monitor it would be great!

You have got to be more specific than that.  Exactly WHAT features do you need with a < $200 model?  Be advised, a high refresh-rate one I was talking about won't fit in that budget I can tell you that right now.  (Keep in mind the GPU you have is high-end and at retail was well over $450, so a monitor worth pairing it with will likely be as well).

You could also mention what your current monitor is, that would also help your case.

What about this Monitor?https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KO4518I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9OgzBbB0B8AE4?tag=linus21-20

I am using currently a Dell 27” 60Hz that’s about 3-4 years old. I’m thinking about using my old one on for a dual monitor setup but have the new one as my main gaming monitor.

Techspot.com is usually a pretty good resource for this sort of info.

https://www.techspot.com/article/1557-fortnite-benchmarks/

https://www.techspot.com/review/1463-ryzen-3-gaming/page4.html

Of course it is quite rare finding benchmarks for a particular combination of cpu and gpu. One often has to interpolate the data.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
