Some of my games are minimizing really slow from the first time that I installed them, but there are ones that were minimizing fast and now they are minimizing slow. For example League of Legends was minimizing really fast before 3 or 4 months. Is that normal or should I try searching ro a fix?

By "minimizing" you actually mean reducing the window to the taskbar? If so, how slow do you mean?

Yeah. In my country we say "minimizing". Sorry for the misunderstanding. And by slow I mean about 10 seconds to reduce the window.

No, minimizing is correct, but I wanted to be sure you actually meant that, because it just sounded strange haha
10 seconds to reduce the window is quite slow actually; this slow-down started happening randomly and suddenly or can you recall any event that was followed by this behavior?

Also, do you have any HW monitoring software, like Afterburner? That could be quite useful in this case

It started happening randomly and I forgot to mension that it only happens when the game is in fullscreen. Yes I do have a MSI Afterburner, but after a couple of trys to overclock my GPU I gave up, because my games were crashing even when the system seemed stable.

Ok, for this purpose, I'd use AB to check the graphs of CPU and GPU usage and clocks to understand whether they're busy while the games are minimizing (to potentially troubleshoot that)

Also, when the games are in fullscreen it's normal to expect a slow minimizing time, compared to borderless window games. Can you check if this applies to your PC too? You should be able to Alt-TAB instantaneously with borderless games

Just checked. It is instant, but I still don't understand why before a couple of moths the fullscreen minimizing was really fast when I compare it now.

Ok, what about the graphs of Afterburner? Can you post a screenshot after playing for a couple minutes than minimizing from fullscreen?

Also, do you remember by any chance whether you updated your graphics drivers just before this kind of slow down started to happen?

No, I don't remember. Give another 5 minutes, because i played a game that is minimizing fast. xD

Sure, no problem haha

Also how do I screenshot the whole graph because I am seeing only one and I have to scroll thrue all of them?

You'd probably be better off by changing in AB's settings, under Graphs, the number of columns to show more than one at a time... Four would do fine

Yeah, perfect shots; lemme have a look at them one sec

Ok, from what I can see there's no CPU or GPU high usage / spikes or any clock abnormal behavior; you've taken the screenshots right after you've minimized the window, right?

I'd recommend you to try closing any background apps, Avira, Chrome, Spotify, Skype and all; just have AB and driver-like programs running. Try if this solves, at least partially the problem

Tell me if you need to see more of the graps.

Actually, can you go in AB's options, under Graphs and enable the CPU utilization / usage one and screenshot it right after minimizing the game? So basically repeating what you've already tried, but with the CPU usage graph enabled, to also have that under control

Ok, but should I close the other apps now?
