Welcome to the forums.

The AIO's are quite reliable if purchased from a decent reputable brand, be it almost anything Asetek based or something like DeepCool if you're not from the US.

Just don't go for a single 120mm radiator. Those are sometimes worse than a decent air cooler. Get a 280 if you can.

If you are wanting to take your chip into high overclocks, then big AIO's are good. If you have a locked chip or aren't overclocking, an air cooler will suffice. Some air coolers beat AIO's, such as Noctua's NH-D15 beats the Coolermaster Masterliquid 240 when overclocked.

hi.

a nzxt aio gives you literally the same performance as a corsair or arctic aio but at a ridiculously high price just because of the looks, overpriced and overrated brand

other than that there are no risks unless you cut a tube on purpose to make it leak

if your ambient temps are usually or always below 30C go for a big air cooler instead

ASUS X470-PRO • R7 1700 4GHz • Corsair H110i GT P/P • 2x MSI RX 480 8G • Corsair DP 2x8 @3466 • EVGA 750 G2 • Corsair 730T • Crucial MX500 250GB • WD 4TB
