Low Fps In Games?

So i have a pretty good pc, but i find myself getting 50-60 fps in rust and about 120 in fortnite but drops to around 50 whilst maintaining 200 in csgo, i was just wondering, why is my fps so low, shouldn't it be higher?

Your dedicated GPU Ram is getting full. I am almost positive, but I could also be wrong.

just playing the game all i have open is steam discord and spotify

Nope 

 

And as soon as i launch rust i sit on 50-60 fps

and when im ingame on fortnite getting about 100 fps

1. Do you have correct GPU drivers?

2. Are your fans spinning when playing?

3. Any suspicious file(s) you downloaded?

It must be rust's in game settings. Have you tried lowering the settings and checking the usage then? I don't think its your GPU its something to do with rust. Again I could be wrong, I am just speculating.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers 4-5 times

my fans do spin but i can hear them spin

fresh install so nothing sus

 

but fps is low in fortnite too,

Weird. Is Vsync on. If it isn't then I'm sorry I don't know anything else other than that.

I'd also check drivers and temps. Maybe run a few scans while you're at it.

have you tried reducing your graphics settings to check if its a limit or a problem with fortnite

Yeah I'd try messing with some setting to see if it unlocks so speed for you, I have heard with the Season 5 update it may have caused some issues for PC users.

It also wouldn't hurt to run Malwarebytes or AVG just in case there is something else that is messing with your performance.

yeah no matter what i do, even if i play on the lowest settings i get no boost

so i now get 160 fps in fornite after disabling shadow play, no improvement on rust thought
