Do anyone know how the Macbook Pros 13" (late 2013) compares to the newly released Macbook Pro 13" and 15"?

2013 had a 71.8 WHr battery. 2018 has a 58.0 WHr battery.

 

Does it matter now? Probably not. It's likely those batteries have lost enough capacity to negate the advantage.
