Hello, 

 

Is it possible to use higher than native laptop resolution with eGPU + monitor? 

 

I've just recently watched Linus' Video about eGPU and it really looks like a solution for me. I really wanna get rid of my PC now and go on my laptop and monitor (external).  However I could not understand clearly, which resolution could be actually supported/displayed when I would use this (laptop + eGPU + monitor) set up?  Would it be limited by native laptop resolution? Any ideas?  

I would very appreciate if someone could help to find any related information.
