first build Some suggestions and feedback please!

Mainly for gaming (ie. Squad, Arma3, The Division), light editing and rendering. Also thinking of throwing an rgb strip in there.

Upgrading from laptop with an i5, gtx1060 max-q, 8gb ram, 1tb hdd.

you seem to be missing a mouse in this setup (i quite like the look of the corsair glaive and hopefully it will be my next mouse)

also if you wanted your desk to be the bell of the ball, the corsair MM800 mouse pad is absolutely stunning

Totally forgot to mention I have a Razer Deathadder Expert. And thank you for the mousepad recommendation!

nice. honestly that should turn out to be a beautiful computer and my only other suggestion would be getting a second monitor as a dual setup becomes so handy and with a little extra money can do a lot of things

Instead of the Asus Strix gpu, consider getting a Gigabyte Aorus gpu as it would be compatible with RGB Fusion, Gigabytes RGB protocol.

 

There have been reports of issues with G3 psu. I'd suggest getting a Seasonic Focus Plus Gold psu instead.
