Chrome connection keeps timing out

So for the past few days I've been having issues with chrome on my PC timing out. I have no idea why it's doing this but it's super annoying. From what I can tell it's not my internet connection because nothing else has the issue but chrome. None of my background programs complain about connection issues and Windows reports I'm connected to the internet when chrome begins timing out. I even checked on another PC and everything seems fine there. I'm also running a fresh install of Windows 10 that I just installed a few days ago. I checked my chrome extensions and the only one in there that might have caused a problem was AdBlock but I disabled that and the problem didn't go away so it's not that either. it also seems to happen randomly like it will be working then out of nowhere it suddenly can't load pages.

Anyone have any ideas?

maybe try using a different browser or reinstalling chrome
