adding a cheap gpu with a expensive gpu

Go to solution Solved by ExcitezR,

EDIT: This is when using 1 Graphics Card !

Okay I've read, that you just have to put your aux display above the row of your 3 Eyefinity monitors in the driver, and you'll be able to play in Eyefinity (3screens) with 1 Aux display.

Tis should be possible with 1 GPU aswell, if your Card has enough connectors

thanks for doing the research and i went on the sapphire website for my GPU and it say max displays is 3 and when i plug in the other monitor it says unable to save display settings

I have a 7970 ghz and have my 3 screens running off of it and i want a forth but my GPU can only do 3 so the question is can i get a cheaper card such as a 7750 of some thing like that for Skype or hardware monitoring  and will i still be able to play in eyefinity please help

Do your mainboard got Onboard video? if so use this?

Otherwise your thought should work, you just shouldn't use a CF Bridge.

You may take a look into the Eyefinity Driver (catalys or what ever) and search for the Monitor Configuration.

If you can tell the driver which monitors to sue for Eyefinity, then this should work out pretty well.

Have you tried configuring the 4th Monitor with the Windows display thingy?
