First, what's your usage and what are your requirements? (weight, battery life etc)

 

Also, where are you from and what's your budget?

XPS 15 has more features (significantly more) and more downsides too, but envy has less features and less downsides too.

XPS 15 has more processor options (i3/5/7), but envy has only i5

So if you want to work hardcore and sometimes game, then XPS, because it also comes with GTX 1050,

If you just want to use it for office and play a bit old titles , then envy

I use it for school so preferably long battery and lightweight. I'm from Australia and max budget is AUD$2000
