Screen turns black

axeand

While watching youtube or some other streaming (in Chrome) service the screen just turns black and I can't do anything except flipping the switch at the back of the power supply. But the problem doesn't appear while gaming, strange?

Windows 10 Home

B350-F Strix

Ryzen 1600X (was overclocked to 4 GHz but issue still remains at stock speeds)

Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x8GB 2133 MHz Were overclocked to 2666 via docp but the problem remains at stock speeds

Boot drive Samsung 960 EVO 250 GB and two other harddrives

MSi Gaming X 1060 6GB

Be Quiet Pure Power 10 600W

Ryzen 5 w/ B350 mobo, 1060, 16gigs, NVMe drive, and a not so quiet aio. K63 Wireless and a comfy mouse and a too big 32" 1080p screen.

Does the issue only occur when using Chrome or does it happen in other programs? Have you tried uninstalling Chrome and doing a fresh install?

The first thing I'd try is cleaning out your browsers with Ccleaner just in case,

but that's just a hunch

Try cleaning your browsers with Ccleaner just in case it's some bad flash extension or something causing it.

(I thought I already commented with this. Oh well. If you got this twice, sorry.)

When I did an Aida64 stresstest this morning the problem occured. Chrome was already uninstalled at this point. Or is it possible that it is some bad drivers or bugs? Or do you think I have some virus and should do fresh windows install? The graphics driver was updated this morning.
