NAS Configuartion

Hey guys,

I am going to build my second server.

This server should get a NIC with a sfp+ and 4 SSDs (each 500gb) and 2 HDDs (each 4 tb )

Server Specs at the moment:

AMD FX4100 | 8gb 1600mhz ddr3 non ECC | intel dual port gigabit | 1 tb hdd

Software: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS with KVM as Hypervisor | IPfire | Radius | LDAP | smaba | squid | etc 

If i bought this stuff is it possible to do a deduplication with priority.

e.g

 

GAME CALL OF DUTY 100GB

                   SSD                                 |

                                                           |

_____________________________ |

                   HDD                                |

______________________________

 

So the software should decide is this Data worth sit on the SSD or not

Maybe this Aspects:

Read/Write Operations in the past

if this isnt happening write to hdd at a special time like 3 am

 

 

I would like to realize this with an free bsd/ bsd/ Linux System or a NAS OS (FreeNAS, ....)
