Logitech G303 issue

Go to solution Solved by twistedapple89,

honestly it sounds like a possibly hardware issue of dirt or something getting stuck in the mechanism. have you tried to take apart your mouse and do deep clean with rubbing alcohol and q-tips? also keep in mind how many times you use and what (if) you have programmed it to do other than back, this can sometimes just come with ware on the device. from a reddit article it seems to be that the springs seem to ware rather easily, so this could be an issue for your mouse as well but who knows. if you're looking to replace it then possibly look at a ducky http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/page-en/ducky-secret-M/ or even a logitech https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mx-master-2s-flow?crid=7 both of these are high price range but i think would be a worth for looking at and the mx can be wired with the included cord

Ive been having this weird issue with my mouse where randomly it will decide to double (sometimes tripple) click the back button when I only press it once. As you can imagine, rather annoying. I used to have this happen when backing out of a webpage just randomly not to often but it is now doing it a lot. Is there some software remedy or is the switch just broken physicaly and cant be fixed?
