I'm looking to stream PURELY for fun. I don't intend to make it a job nor do I actually think I'll get a large following. It's merely for something to do and for friends to watch. I have the following. My main PC in which I play games on is the following; 1080 8GB, 16GB RAM, i7-7700K & A Z270 M5. Secondary/Old (Possible steam PC) PC; GTX 970 4GB, 8GB RAM, i7-4790K 4GHz & A Asus Z97 Upload speed between 5-7Mb. Thoughts? I've been told to OBS plus NDI plugin, though I only have the one Ethernet port.

Up to you. I might start that way then introduce the second later.

Yeah. Think that is what I am going to do. First time user of OBS so I'm just going to go through and learn the basics and probably the advanced. If you know anything about what I am going to ask then I would be extremely grateful if you would answer it. If not then no worries, thank you anyway. There are two methods I have heard in which you can stream. With a capture card and without. What are the benefits of paying loads of money for a capture card? Lastly, if I may. How are you suppose to connect two PC's together without a card? I've read plenty of times that most boards only have one Ethernet cable so how is this accomplished? If you want to because it's actually something of interest or you're feeling like spending time to respond to me. How on a technical scale does that method work, referring to the stream between two computers without a CC. Thank you.
