I have a Turtle Beach EarForce Z300 headset. It's supposed to be a wireless headset but I lost the transmitter and can't find any online replacements. However, the headset also has a 2.5mm jack for mobile devices, and it advertises the capability of transmitting both audio game audio to the headphones and mic audio to the mobile device, and I assume that it would also have this functionality for desktop. The headphones came with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable that would carry both mic and game audio signals, but I lost this adapter. I'm looking through amazon, but I don't trust myself to buy the right thing. Could someone please link a 2.5mm to 3.5mm cable that would carry both mic and audio signals?

Hi Phil9943,

Just look at the connector, if there is one line it is TS type jack and does not support stereo sound and microphone. It means there is no left and right only mono. Both side of headphones will give you the same sound. If there are two lines then it is a TRS type jack and supports stereo sound but it does not support microphone. You can only listen to music but can not make calls with these type of headphones. The TRRS type jack supports both stereo and microphone functionality. So pretty much any with the three connectors should be good (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Headphones-LANMU-Braided-Smartphones/dp/B01NA992WT
