I recently made a ryzen 2700x build, and i'm trying to get the most out of my memory. I got a kit of G.Skill Ripjaws V which are rated for 3200mhz. Unfortunately, they use Samsung D-Die which are only stable at 2933mhz on this system. The speed is fine for me, i'm just wondering how much i can tighten the latency. with the XMP settings for 3200mhz, the timings are 16-18-18-38. I'm fairly new to RAM overclocking, and I'm wondering what kind of timings would be suitable for this memory at 2933mhz

I've tried testing several timing configurations, and none of them have been stable. I've actually had some instability running at 2933mhz with 16-18-18-38 timings with XMP voltages. I've ordered a set of Team Dark Pro which is rated at 3200mhz with 14-14-14-31 timings & Samsung B-Die, and i'm going to return the ripjaws. I've seen people clock these up to 3600mhz with still fairly tight timings, but i'd just like to see these get up to 3400 or 3466mhz with tighter timings. TeamGroup has always been reliable, but i haven't seen many official reviews on the Dark Pros outside of reddit - hoping for the best
