Hi all, if anyone could give me a hand explaining why I keep getting random blue screens, I've just finished building my new pc, I'm using an i7 8700k OC 4.8ghz, EVGA 970 sc, corsair H100i v2, 16gb DDR4 RAM, 1 Ssd and 1 HDD, with a 600watt power supply, thanks for the help guys.

It was on a 24 stress test and didn't bluescreen during that time, it wouldnt be my PSU would it?

No, A PSU won't cause blue screening, if anything a bad PSU will just shut your computer off.

Like Alexsolo said, remove your overclock. If that doesn't fix it, then the likely culprit is a defective RAM stick.

If removing your overclock didn't help, try running your computer with a single ram sick (do this with both)

I'll try using a stick of ram at a time and see what happens. It's always at random when it does happen, and never because of a game or program I'm running.

I had a similar issue back in 2014. I took my PC to microcenter and that's what the issue was.
