I believe it would just register the IP address that you posted from, which would be the VPN address. Sites shouldn't default to your normal IP if you turn off a VPN.

Hello! I was looking into getting a VPN/Proxy and I just have this question:

If you were to post something while connected to a VPN/proxy, then turned off the VPN/proxy would that post be able to be tracked back to your normal IP address? And would that be vice versa?
