Hi Y'all,

So my fiancee and I love the new farcry game, massively.

However we have ran into an issue on her game that I would appreciate a little assistance with.

Prior to the latest update, she could run the game on medium settings in 1920*1080, the limitation being the amount of GPU memory she has (2gb gddr5) on an amd r9 290?...something like that.

But since the latest update, the game has been running like shit.

I got her to check the settings, and the game used to sit just under the maximum memory.

But now, even if we change to low settings, the game is stating it is using over the maximum memory her card has.

Unfortunately we were playing through the story in co-op, and because her low end machine now can't handle the game, I can't play without her :S

Is there any fix besides upgrading the GPU that anyone can suggest?

We really don't want to have to upgrade her card to play a game she could play (prior to update) completely fine.

Thanks for any suggestions.

-Rob

Check if the render scale is set to 100% or higher, i had this issue in another game where it would change it to 200% for no reason after an update. it basically takes 4X the gpu power needed to run the game and only gives a slight improvement.

I'll get her to check, thank you for the suggestion.
