nice (i have no idea how to disable cores but sounds like you're better now)

Basicly ive been reading on the TH forum (http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3649717/windows-recognizing-cores-ryzen-1600.html) that someone was also running Ryzen master module and suddently 3 of his 6 cores and threads were disabled. It was do to RMM overwriting the bios. I immediately disabled it and used this command prompt (bcdedit/deletevaue numproc) and restarted my computer. It fixed most (or all i hope) problems i had and so far so good. Next time you want to overclock you Ryzen CPU i suggest overclocking with the bios.

Hey guys i need your help.

So for about a week now (as of May 26, 2018) i finished building my new computer.
Unfortunatly, i noticed it wasn't running a speeds i was expecting. I tried figuring out by myself for about 3 days straight.

I look at benchmarks of BF1 Ultra preset 1080p running at 120 fps while mine struggles to hit 100 fps and sometimes hit below 60.

Here's my rig :
Ryzen 5 1600 stock cooler
Asus Strix b-350-f motherboard
Asus Strix GTX 1070 ti
16 GB Ram from G.Skills Tridents Z RGB (Running 3200mhz with O.C.E.M profile)
Kingston 256 gb SSD via SATA
Seagate 2TB via SATA

All Drivers are up to date. AMD chipset driver are there, Nvidia too. I even updated my BIOS

Please help i don't know what to do anymore.

might be the cpu, the clock speed of that cpu is really weak for running this game

this is one of the most cpu intensive games out there, if you really want to get better performance, you might want to see if you can OC your current cpu or get a better one

If it is the case, which CPU do you recommand ?

the 2nd Gen RYZEN APU looks nice.

PS 2 :

I Overclocked my CPU to 3.80 ghz (3.2 before) and upped my voltage by .75. Everything looks stable to me so far and Cinebench has shown  that my cpu is overclocked and still runs at 3.8 gz.

Since i have a stuck cooler i won't overclock it more.

Further test will continue.

i still have my i5 4690K :(

its great for most games where hyperthreading isn't need with its good clock speed

I feel like clock speed is where it is for games these days but i wanted a multicore cpu for streaming and a future-proof chipset.
