Amazon Fire TV Element EL4KAMZ5017 - black out

Been using this TV as a PC monitor.

I checked to make sure the refresh rates match, there's no sleep settings enabled on the TV.

However, this hot steaming turd keeps what appears to be going to sleep during gaming sessions.

Neither amazon nor element support seems to be able to resolve.

The only reliable way I've found to get it to wake back up is to switch inputs, do something on the PC (open start menu, alt tab, etc), then flip back.

 

Any ideas would be highly appreciated.
