Hello anyone willing to help,

I currently have a gtx 950 gpu (kinda lame, I know) and a friend of mine with identical one can bring me his which is no longer in use.

I was wondering how do I start? I looked a little online realizing I need an "SLI bridge" and enough ram for that.

peripherals (that I believe are necessary):

GTX 950 3gb

8 gb of ram

Appreciate any help!

You can do SLI with 8gb ram so that's fine.

Make sure you buy the right length SLI bridge if it's a solid one(if its too short or long it wont work) or if you buy a cable style one, just make sure its not too short.

Thank you!

Do you know if it will have trouble temperature wise?

Well, I thought that I might not have enough ram in order to handle an extra gpu.

That video says absolutely nothing about your system RAM ;-)

It depends. What is your case, how many fans and what kind of version of 950 do you have and will be getting?

I was more interested in your case than CPU fan.

I'd expect the upper card to run in the ballpark of 80-85c and the lower around 70-75c. Unless you have a case with side fan that can feed fresh air to them - then expect it to be about 5c lower or something around that.

If you have a case with terrible airflow then you may cook the upper card.

It's a cooler master K282, I don't have any other fans other than the one I mentioned.

Are there other necessary things to get besides the bridge?

As you can probably tell I'm pretty bad at that kinda.

Once again thanks for your help.
