Is this service worth it in general application use?  I can see it as a platform running with steroids with a vpn, espescially over WIFI?

I mainly use it as a backup mail to my other mails. It runs fine for :) For normal everyday use you might be better off with something else though. The constant logging in (good for security, bad for ease of use) really irritates me sometimes.
