I am currently putting together a list for my first PC build, I've learned a lot over these past few months and have my list now. I'm going for a processor heavy build as my main game is Planetside 2. I would like to be able to stream at least 720p with duh 60 fps. My price range is $1000 to $1500. I don't know if this build is well balanced as far as quality and upgradability is concerned. I'm thinking about upgrading for more RAM if prices do not fall before summer is over, upgrading my GPU if I ever want to play more demanding games, and switching to water cooling if I need it.

I will be building it later this summer so no real rush. If anyone can give their insight on my first build, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

-Zack

I would go for something more like this. As you mentioned, you can always upgrade the GPU down the road.

No need for watercooling, like ever.

I didn't bother changing the SSD though haha.

Why is AMD's option $100 cheaper for the ryzen? Seems too good to be true or is it just that way? Also would you recommend waiting as long as possible for RAM prices to drop or will that take too long? From what I've read, it may stay that way for a long time.

If your building it later this summer the GTX 11 series will be coming out in July-Augustish, I would get the Ryzen 2700X because it has more cores and will be better for streaming.
