figured out how to do it with steam...

just add WordPad to steam and alt tab out during the stream

anyone know how i could do something similer to steam streaming but of the whole desktop?

Remote desktop? Utilities like TeamViewer will allow you to do share screens, I don't know if audio gets transferred as well.

 

As far as "over LAN", TeamViewer will work anywhere with an internet connection.

RealVNC will do this.

k something with lower latency than REALVNC 

 

steam was under 1ms
