Waterproof phone

Hello everyone, i got a lg g6 and i recently dropped in a 1/2 inch of water... And im a little worried that i could do damaige. What should i do? Even if it has a ip68 rating, there is still the unprotected ports and the speakers.

You should be fine, but if you want to be super paranoid and are willing to be phoneless for a few days, just drop it in a bag of rice for a day or 2 and you should be fine.

The general wisdom on this is that the phone is fine.  the ports will stay wet for a while though.  I wouldnt use them for at least 2 or 3 days.  or make sure they are very dry... like as in no water at all.
