game crash after using xtu

so my laptop was overheating and people told me to use XTU (intel extreme something something) to undervolt or something. All it did was make me crash more (i would crash maybe once per day now i crash instantly). I reset the settings and uninstalled the program and it still is happening how do i reset all cpu settings?

it crashes this much before but i stopped it from using turbo boost and it fixed it a lot but still crashed a little but wayyy less

Have you tried cleaning the laptop before reinventing the wheel?

It was working the minute before i ran xtu. Im looking to just reset it not fix it completely im sending it back to fix it
