Pascal Fe cards heatsinks

Just wanted to let people know that the 1070 FE has a heat pipe heatsink.

 

Everyone keeps saying it’s just a regular heatsink which makes you think non heatpipe but it in fact is heatpipe.

 

can someone with a 1060 confirm it also has the heat pipes?

 

That also explains why my upgrade to a vapor chamber was successful but not by as much as I was hoping.

That is a vapor chamver.vapor chambers look like flat heat pipes

who ever said it was just a heatsink? I always heard it was a vapor chamber heatsink.

The 1070ti and up are vapor chamber. I added one to my 1070. Trust me, the vapor chamber one looks very different. You can google a side by side comparison. 

 

The 1060 and 1070 were always called “regular heatsinks” by any reviewer I’ve seen on YouTube.

Well I’m nice so I googled it for you. The top one is the vapor chamber. Notice how the whole bottom plate is a chamber vs the flat heat pipes I exposed on my old heatsink.
