Frame issue after new gpu install

okay so after putting it off for a while ive finally upgraded my r7 260x to a gtx 1050 upon installation in the pc and installing the drivers i loaded up a game and immediately noticed lower frames, and im here scratching my head wondering whats going on? any ideas?
