Help! Phone antenna problems

So I was recently replacing the screen on my LG v20, but when transferring all the components I snipped off a chunk of what I think to be the antenna cable (now I only have the half called at-5 or something like that). I want to know if there is anything I can do to diy an antenna or do I need to buy a broken phone and transplant a new one. Any help is appreciated!
