My GPU stopped working

So a few days back i installed a new gpu in my computer (evga 1060 6gb sc) i didnt had problem since, but the other day i was exiting a game and i had a black screen i could get out of there so i turned my computer off in pressing the power button.

i tried to start the computer but it wasnt starting, thinking it could be corrupted files i reseted my hard drive and i managed to get start my PC but now the PC doesnt recognize the gpu and when i start the gpu the gpu fan spins but when it boots up the fan stops working and the PC doesnt recognize the gpu

if someone could help me i would apreciate that.

EVGA Has some of the best customer support in their class. I'd go for that and see if they can help.
