I got rid of most of the stuff from this thing, but I just can't reset my newtab.url.

Whenever I try to change the value to what it should be (about:newtab) it just goes right back to this page. I've tried various addons which couldn't fix it and I've also tried to run firefox as admin, also no success.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

Here is the URL if you want it:

EDIT: resetting is not availible:

Right click on it click 'Modify' then instead of the searchconduit crap type: about:newtab
